Marsh Gibbon Village Plan 2011
The Village Plan reflects a consensus of Marsh Gibbon villagers, of what they would like to see for the village in the future, on matters such as Leisure, Housing, the Village Hall, Community Facilities, Transport, Education, Youth Facilites etc.
Having a Village Plan will help to support applications for funding for the village from grant-aiding bodies, such as Bucks County Council's Local Area Forum and Aylesbury Vale District Council.
The Plan was put together by a Steering Group of eight volunteers from the village, two Parish Councillors, and the Parish Clerk. Cllr Ian Metherell was the Chairman.
From the outset, the Parish Council supported the Village Plan and has made a financial contribution to its production.
At its meeting on 8 March 2011, the Council voted to adopt the plan for the village for the next five years.
