Annual Return


The Public Audit of the Parish Council's accounts consists of an Internal Audit and an External Audit. The External Auditor is appointed by the Audit Commission. As part of the Public Audit, local councils in England (Parish Meetings, Parish and Town Councils) with an annual turnover of £1 million or less must complete an annual return summarising their annual activities at the end of each financial year.
