Unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) is a growing problem across the internet. Displaying email addresses as plain text (such that they may be 'copied and pasted') or using 'mailto' (that allows the address to be 'clicked' on to begin an email message) allows 'SPAMMERS' to automatically 'harvest' the addresses for their own use.

It is a policy of this website to reduce the quantity of SPAM which the Councillors and others receive. The email addresses shown on this website are therefore displayed as images ('GIF's) rather than text, to prevent this abuse.

This is why we ask you to manually type the email address into your usual email program.
